Miscellaneous--

Born and raised in Oregon.  Grew up hiking native NW forests, canoeing our rivers, which gave me a deep appreciation for Oregon's landscape.  Spent summers on the Lewis & Clark College campus (father a professor there), developing a love for the Arts & Crafts movement in architecture and landscape design. 

Hobbies: gardening, photography, hiking, reading, family time.

Family: married for 25 years, two teenage children.  We garden on a sunny, quarter-acre lot in Scappoose, OR, with deer, horsetails, and a sweet, fetch-crazed dog.
